motors

Motors

Theirs many types of motors for vehicles. Some examples is v8, v6, 3sounder, v10, and also my favorite diesels. When getting or parching new motors look at the mileages. And look for worsen parts or damage areas on the motor. And if you just buy a new motor to build you can put upgraded parts in it and on it like blowers and intakes and gaskets, and nos hook ups , and last is my m=favorite headers and superchargers and cams. My truck that I race has a procomp cam and a super charger. My super charger builds 15 pounds of boost and that’s really ant much. My friends ranger that he races has a 600 pounds boost charger on it and it’s quick.  His truck has beat me at a lot of races but I don’t get mad because, it was his dads truck who passed away on his son’s birthday when he was 8 his son wanted to race it so I helped him  fix it up with some money I had. Witch made me miss a race that I wanted to do but I didn’t care I helped him out so that’s nice. I didn’t have to help him but I decided to. His truck is yellow and nice I’d like to have it myself but it was his dads and he never gets read of it. Witch I don’t blame him for not wanting to sell it to anyone. If it was mine I wouldn’t.

Aftermarket Exhaust

                      Aftermarket Exhaust
http://www.dymacvehiclegroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/car-headers.jpg
After market exhaust will help out on fuel flow and fuel getting burnt.  Theirs many different brands of exhaust in the world. And another thing that goes with the exhaust system is the headers or manifold. Some brands of headers that I know of are hooker headers which are a exhalant brand that is on my truck now. They make headers for every car made and if not they will make it. My Honda has a turbo and a custom made header on it to do the turbo and exhaust system it comes out in front of the back wheel. We customized frame and other modifications’ on that car to make the $1000.00 exhaust system that the owner bought. The muffler that ends the system sits on the ground when he lets the air bags down. It’s crazy piercing the systems for any vehicle to upgrade it. Example my Mazda it cost $600.00 for the exhaust system for it and it’s a level one and the header coast almost $500.00 upgrading gets pricey and hard. You run into problems and slight customizations you have to make to fit your part on. Headers look cool and might sound a little better but I recommend that you leave it stock. I have run into so many problems customizing parts to make it fit on the car. A big problem that scares me is ill have to cut and plate the frame and make a spots for the bends in the system to be well placed.

cams and barings

Cam and Barings
http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/images/GSC-cams_gencoupe_1.jpg
When your choosing to build a motor for your car a cheap and easy way to get some extra house power and cool sound’s is put a cam in it. My truck that I race has a bigger one in it. My truck that I drive which is an 86 ford f-150 2wd is going to get an extreme cam in it. My trucks getting lowered little bit and new rims, paint job, frame work. And also restored frame to roof. It’s going to be metal flake black and silver metal flake with rainbow in it. And I think it will look good my truck has almost 400,000 miles on it and never really worked on it. People like my truck but pick on it for the fact its little rough and old. When I get the cam and everything done to it it look new and beautiful. My dad gave me the truck when I was 14 years old because I always asked about it. When my dad gave me the truck my brother got mad because he wanted it. I have came up with a rough stamens to redo my truck ill have about $2500.00 in the full restoration. Which isn’t that ad when my other vehicle cost $6000.00to restore? That vehicle was a 69 road runner with a 440 with 2 fours in it. It was the color hemi orange with black strips. I always got told it was too loud but it was street legal somewhat.

traction bars and frame customization

Traction bars and frame customization
http://www.full-race.com/store/images/full/honda-acura-proam-traction-bar-0.jpg
My truck was just finished up besides the traction bars and the frame reinforced.  To reinforce my frame I have to take the cab and the motor out and also the bed.  I and my aunt will have to weld and make bunch braces to take the torque form the power. I took over this week and I got new doors and finders. Then I went and bought new slicks for the back which is tiers for racing. Then I and my aunt went to Jeggs to get shifter upgrade and also a five point racing harness, a racing harrness is a sfty belt that holds you in. The tiers and the harness alone was $900.00 which is costly. If you’re getting in to racing you better have a lot of money it gets pricey. Right now I have at least $10,000 in my truck and still ant even close to be done.  The first race is 2 weeks after we get out of school and I hope to have it done to race it and not to get hurt.  I got the nos holed up and got to hook up my rear-end and put it on the dino and tune it to get it in the right shape for the races. Only a couple of people have seen my truck my parents has not seen it it’s kind of a surprise to them I’m going to drive it to my graduation party. Just to show it off and see what they say about it and get all the comments on it.

The race to finish race vehicles for this summer.
http://rpmspeed.com/images/05175.jpg
This car that you see in the figure has nos which is an upgrade for cars to make them faster.  I myself have an 86 ranger with a built 302 with 50 shot of nos that I’m building now. I hope to have it done this summer to race at the trails with my buddy’s dad. My paint job is going to be custom paint with a face on the hood in memory of my friend that died in a crash. The crash was caused by a drunk came left of center and totaled my friends car. We are rebuilding his car now to bring the memory back for us to remember. Buds car was a 69 Ford Mustang with a 460 custom frame with a blower and other high performance parts bought from Jeggs. His wife is getting into racing we are surprising her with his car we are building it for her to race. We are painting it the same color which is metal flake green with yellow flames. She knows we are working on cars just she doesn’t know that it was his. I just went last week and got a 50 millimeters turbo for my race truck,  it cost $350.00. Now I am planning to go get an extra tank of nos to put in it to have 300 shoot of nos. I just plan that my motor will hold up to the power and all the heat.

Hey I’m Dakota mash I am writing about high performance parts and love to build race cars and trucks. It’s fun hobby to do but takes along time to do and lot of money. But there are dangers in the performance industries people dieting from crashes and other incidents. I had a couple I crashed a mustang it was a 86 with a built 302 with super charged  5 speed intercooler and bunch aftermarket parts’ even had it custom painted it was black with flake in it. I’m in the posses of building a drag ranger right now hope to have it done for summer. If your looking for parts to buy Summit is a good web site to buy parts.
